A TAXI DRIVER?!

I heard a very encouraging report the other day from one of my composition students, Seung-Bum. He mentioned that one of his classmates (KangSung) caught a taxi to Handong and the taxi driver asked him, "Do you know Andy?" After he responded that he did in fact know me, the taxi driver shared with him a great testimony. He mentioned that I had talked with him in the taxi and shared a Christian tract with him and that as a result he is now attending church!!! WOW!! I was in awe once again that God can use even simple conversations to change lives! The interesting part of the whole story is considering how much I LOATHED taxi drivers less than 5 years ago. I guess my attitude towards taxi-drivers at that time could be compared to the average American's opinion of lawyers or the gospel times opinion of tax collectors. (I remember that when a student would mention that their father was a taxi-driver I would think in my heart "and we all know what that means...") Through prayer and appreciation of God's love for me, He has placed it on my heart to share tracts with taxi-drivers when ever going to the bus station. It still amazes me whenever God uses me in even the smallest way to advance His kingdom. May He continue to be MAGNIFIED in the lives of ALL His people and may we be BOLDER to share the good news as Christ was not ashamed to bear our sins before the world on the cross, dying for us all.
The more we talk to God about our non-Christian friends/family,
the more we will talk to our non-Christian friend/family about God.
(The same can be said about the lost in general.)
Prayer brings about evangelism.
"Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves." (Luke 10:2-3)
REDEEMED!
Redeemed how I love to proclaim it!
Redeemed by the blood of the lamb.
Redeemed through His infinite mercy
His child and forever I am.
Redeemed and so happy in Jesus
No language, my rapture can tell.
I know that the light of His presence
With me shall continually dwell.
REDEEMED! REDEEMED!
REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB!
His child and forever I am.
I think of my blessed Redeemer.
I think of Him all the day long.
I sing for I CANNOT BE SILENT
His love is the theme of my song.
REDEEMED! REDEEMED!
REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB!
REDEEMED! REDEEMED!
HIS CHILD AND FOREVER I AM!
FOREVER I AM! FOREVER I AM!
I know I shall see in His beauty
The King in who's our delight
Who lovingly guards every footstep
And gives me a song in the night.
REDEEMED! REDEEMED!
REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB!
REDEEMED! REDEEMED!
HIS CHILD AND FOREVER I AM!
REDEEMED! REDEEMED!
HIS CHILD AND FOREVER I AM!
FOREVER I AM!
