Adam and I were watching a program the other night that said that the Christmas wreath origionally was put up at Christmas to symbolize the crown of thorns Jesus wore. I thought that that was an interesting tidbit as we are trying to find more Godly traditions for our family and I have thought of maybe even making a wreath each year with the kids. I don't know if you already knew that but anyway, there you go. And also I don't know that it is totally factual. I would assume it would be as it does make sense but I am going to look into the origion of it just to be sure I am telling the kids the truth. It is great to see the decorations up, hey? I love this time of year!
I did not know that. AWESOME!
