The Doctrine of God - Immensity of God
"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?" (1 Kings 8:27)
Applied to God, immensity means that God cannot be limited by space and is in fact beyond space. Space is the area where physical reality (matter) and being (energy) exists, and to that degree is limited. Where space ends, God still persists infinitely beyond all limits.
