People Are Like Shoes

The Bible has a great deal to say about shoes.
See Exodus 3:5 for shoes of reverence;
Ruth 4:7 for shoes of business;
Joshua 9:5 for shoes of deceit;
Deuteronomy 29:5 for shoes of miracles; and
Ephesians 6:15 for shoes of the Christian soldier.
Why is a person like a shoe?
Every person has a maker. Every shoe has a maker. It is made after a pattern or design. God is our Maker.
Both are made for a purpose. The shoe was not intended to sit in a shoe box! "Man's chief end is to serve God and enjoy Him forever." Are you filling your purpose?
Both have a tongue. Is your tongue used to speak of Christ and to sing His praises?
Both have eyes. Read Numbers 21 and remember - "There is a life for a look at the Crucified One." (Numbers 21:9, John 3:14-16)
Both have a sole (soul). "For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?"
Both require repairs. For repairs-the right person is required. Shoes must go to the shoemaker for repairs. We must come to Christ, our Maker, for the remedy for sin.
Both the shoe and we (our salvation) were provided by a sacrifice. Animals are slain to provide hide for shoes. Christ died to provide salvation for us.
May your soul (and soles!) cry out to the great "Shoemaker", Carpenter and Creator of all!!!

After all the funny Konglish I've seen I'm rather impressed with the punny name.
I know you always like the church billboards too. I was thinking of you when I saw one on our holidays. It was too busy to think of getting a photo for you.
"Hell has no fire escape".
Love you bro.

Sometimes I'm not sure what are Korean brands and what are American/International companies.
Like "Athlete's Foot", for example, which I thought was a unique Korean shoe store name but came to learn was foreign.
