Let Justice Roll!

Leader: Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, so that you may live and occupy the land that the LORD your God is giving you. (Deuteronomy 16:20)
Men: You shall not deprive a resident alien or an orphan of justice; you shall not take a widow's garment in pledge. (Deuteronomy 24:17)
Women: For the word of the LORD is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves rigthteousness and justice. (Psalm 33:4-5)
All: Depart from evil, and do good; so you shall abide forever. For the LORD loves justice; He will not forsake His faithful ones. (Psalm 37:27)
Leader: Happy are those whose help is the God of Jacob...who keeps fatih forever; who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free; the LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the strangers; He upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked He brings to ruin. Praise the LORD! (Psalm 146:5-10)
Men: For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon His shoulders; and He is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His authority shall grow continually, and there shall be endless peace for the throne of David and His kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this onward and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
Women: Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abide in the fruitful field. The effect of righteousness will be peace...(Isaiah 32:16-17)
All: To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. (Proverbs 21:3)
Leader: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. (Matthew 23:23)
Students: Take away from me the noise of your songs; I will not listen to the melody of your harps. But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. (Amos 5:23)
All: He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)
