I have NO idea what kind of cake it was and Joanne & Peter are off on vacation. Anyway, it was delicious, that's all I can say about that, ha!ha!
About celebrating his birthday, you make it sound like welfare, ha!ha! It's a small community here (3,000 students 50 profs) so Tarik is actually a pretty good friend of ours. He was in a bible study with me last year and each Saturday single male profs go shopping ("the monk run") so it was a real pleasure to be there for Tarik's b-day. :-)
