Housing!

Housing has always been kind of an issue for single profs here at Handong University...actually, it is THE reason I did not end up working here a few years back and instead went to Catholic University of Korea (CUK) in Bucheon. (personal space!) No matter HOW nice someone is, there are just personal issues that make living with someone difficult. Of course, we don't want to be TOO comfortable and we must remember that we are pilgrims on this earth for a mere breath of life, but I think that has to be balanced with common sense and enjoying life too! ("I may be single, but I'm not a monk!")
I've always said, "If I really wanted a roommate at my age, I would just get married!"
It's nice that single housing units are actually in the budget and are starting to be constructed here! Halleluia!
I look forward to moving out of dorm #4 and into a new singles pad.
Things are really happening here at Handong Global University!!!

Proposed housing for single professors to be completed at Handong Global University this October! Will be nice to get the male professors out of the female dorm, ha!ha!
