Cruelty to Animals!

Some people are obsessed with their pets. Others are obsessed with fashion. As you can see here, some Koreans combine their obsessions and submit their dogs to the latest in pet fashion! If you look REAL close, you can see the shame in this poor dog's eyes. "No! Please! Don't make me walk the streets in those ridiculous pink shoes again!!! PLEASE!!" Then again, I suppose dressing a dog is better than digesting a dog...

I thought the "pants vendor" had a pretty unique hair-style for a Korean. What do you think? (Selling cordoroid pants at only $20!)

Mushed Fish on a Stick!

It's hard to explain the taste of "o-dang"; a crushed and mushed fish sausage served on a stick that is boiled in hot water. They have these "o-dang" vendors EVERYWHERE in Korea! Notice the "o-dang ajuma" hard at work, separating the cooked-o-dang from the not yet cooked o-dang, as I hold up my delicious snack to enjoy!

There are quite a few "Insam" shops around NamDaeMoon market. Mostly taken for good health, there is also a hint of sexual power promised to the purchasers of these "magical roots"...as this photo found above one of the shops suggests. "Bikini bearing Insam"?!

"The World's Most Famous Caveman" is a pretty popular t-shirt at just about any market in Korea. Was talking with my office-mate, Mike, about the current whereabouts of Osama. Is it possible that he was taken out in the recent earthquake...?!
