Wild Flowers of the World...

"...the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business." (James 1:10-11)

HGU Mission House on a beautiful September afternoon!

One of the "HGU bookstore Ajashes" caught red-handed picking flowers off campus, ha!ha! (for his girlfriend?!) :-)

Reeds in front of the Mission House at HGU. "Can reeds thrive without water?" (Job 8:11)

Let Go & Let God!

What do you do when you are anxious/worried/concerned? Who do you talk to at such a time? Who better than the Living Lord who created you and knows you better than you know yourself?! "Let go & Let God!"

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Kim!!!

Saturday, September 23rd was Son Kyung Hee's 53rd birthday!!! Here she is with her husband, Mr. Kim Yong Joon, and the gorgeous basket of flowers he bought her!!! (They both own and operate "Hyoam Restaurant at HGU.)

Handong GLOAL Uiv?!

Chuseok is coming soon (Oct 5-7) which is clear from all the ladies dressed in Hanbok at the shopping malls and the "Chuseok gift sets" on sale. After taking this photo of a random lady working at the mall, she asked me, "Aren't you a professor from Handong? I'm a student at Handong." You never know where you're going to bump into students!

Mr. Kim wanted us to stop to get some photos of the sea on the way back from E-mart. I'm glad he did as it was gorgeous.

Yours truly with some serious squinting going on (super sunny day!)

The "chauffeur" of today's off campus shopping run, Noah Chung. (Yes, ladies-He's single, financially stable, Christian and has a nice car! I can set you up on a date with him for a small fee, ha!ha!)

A WONDERFUL shot of Professor Kim!

Pohang Waterfront looking towards Posco

Pohang Fishermen. Look at the the size of those rods!! Quite long but they seem so thin that you'd think they'd snap if the fish had some meat on it!

Charles is one of the International House leaders/counselors. He is also a pastor. If that isn't enough, he's also taking my Grammar Practice Class this semester. He insisted on buying me dinner last Friday evening after class and here he is presenting me with a wonderful gift of grapes/apple. Thanks so much, Charles! (No, not a bribe as he is auditing my course! ha!ha! :-))

True hatred towards your fellow man does not "exit stage left" until Christ becomes "centre-stage" of your life.
