This Week's "Lessons from an English Camp Trashcan"

English so bad we can't make sense of it OR a message so profound that English just can't grasp it?! :-)

Week 2 of Camp - Beta Class

It has been great teaching Beta class gentlemen so far this week.

Bu-Hyeon is 24 and a 2nd yeard GSNU student. He says, "I have an ordinary girlfriend but she's special to me." He wanted to share that his sister had double eyelid surgery last week. His motto is "I'm not the best but I'm special."

Hyeon-Dong is a 24 year old 2nd year aerospace mechanical engineering student. He has very sensitive skin and even has to use women's skin lotion as he shared with the class. He lives in Chang Am village. His motto is "Have deep thoughts like the ocean."

Hyun-Dong's scary class "Wanted Poster". "I should kill English"?!?! Contrary to the whole attitude of the poster, he really is a pleasure to teach, ha!ha!

Yoon Gun (the "Gun" part is difficult for foreigners to pronounce!) is 24 and a 2nd year student. He is from Taegu. He really loves reading comics. His motto is "I love all people".

Joong Sik is a 24 year old aerospace mechanical engineering student. He is from the village of Sachun which is famous for persimmon just outside of Jinju. He enjoys singing and movies. His motto is "Do your best in everything."

Bong-Jin is 25 and a 2nd year student. His is special indeed. He insists on wearing a toque (that's what we call that hat in Canada anyway!) IN class but not in the freezing cold of morning exercise! Go figure! He loves movies and like many of his classmates he really enjoyed a trip to Jejudo last summer. His motto is "Don't waste time!"

At the fresh age of 20, Sung Won is the youngest member of Beta class. He is a freshman aerospace mechanical engineering student. He has 2 sisters which have a 10 year gap in age. He enjoys sleeping and basketball. His motto is "If you try hard, you can succeed."
