My wacky new alarm clock! After a series of crazy barkings, it says (in Korean), "Master, get up quickly! If you don't, I'll bite your behind!" (You can listen to "him" just below this post...)

Spokesman for today's youth!

HOW DEEP THE FATHER'S LOVE FOR US

How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He would give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross
My guilt upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no powers, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

Kindly Leave My Walls Alone

Kindly leave my walls alone, sir.
They're not intended to wound or maim.
It may be cold within this mortar
But I need it all the same.
It seems the moment I let my guard down
A poisoned arrow finds its way
To the center of my being
And it kills me day by day.
Kindly leave my walls alone, ma'am.
I don't believe I'm asking much.
I'm a jelly-hearted softy
But these bricks are oh-so-tough.
I'll not throw any sticks or stones
Across the distance protecting me.
I kindly ask you to be going
Leave me alone and let me be.
Years later, this poem unfinished.
Hard to remember the man who wrote before.
I only know that I'm so grateful
That Jesus persistently knocked upon my door.
I find myself on the other side now
Gently tapping walls as some did mine.
I pray they open up to Jesus
Only in Him, true peace they'll find.
