"Wise and Wiser"?!

The university camp movie we watched this week was...you got it-"Dumb and Dumber"! I heard from a number of students that I look like Jim Carrey and it became a kind of joke this week...so here's Andy & Soo-Ryeon with "Dumb and Dumber: English Camp version", ha!ha!

GSNU English Winter Camp Flea Market

Johanne Roy (at least the back and side of her head!) while she puts the finishing touches on this students face. Johanne Roy is from Montreal, Quebec. (Quelle surpris de recontrer une Quebecoise dans une ville de Coree!!!)

Jacquiline-You're just too cute for your own good!

Laurel Soon (from Hawaii!) busy at work at the "Face Painting booth". Laurel teaches the kids a workshop on Hawaiian dance which has become pretty popular over the past 4 weeks. She trained about 7 of the male teachers to dance Saturday during the closing ceremony...should be a hoot!

Jorden Pritchard and his little lady caught taking a romantic stroll around the booths during flea market time, ha!ha!

I think this is a great shot of the "higher ups of the camp". The Program Directors; Ahn Byeong-Gil and Park Jeong-Suk and the Camp Directors; Robert Kitchen and Daniel Lynds.

Matthew with what looks to be spider woman and Frankenstein, ha!ha!

Tuan and company at the popcorn stand. The popcorn was great and everyone wanted it so bad that there was always a VERY long line-up! Let me know when you open up your own "Vietnamese popcorn stand in Korea chain", Tuan! I'll be your #1 customer.

Peter Sinclair and some of his students taking a break from selling for a quick photo.

Nasra Adan chatting it up with students at the "Camp Music CDs booth". Every morning (starting at 6:50am!) they play LOUD wake-up music (GREAT way to start the day) to make sure students are up and out the door lined up for morning exercise at 7:15. "Wake me up before you GO-GO..." What better way to remember than to buy a CD with all the music and even Robbie's recorded voice telling students to get outside?! ha!ha!

Karen and her "mini English camp students". No, the "mini" doesn't refer to their size, ha!ha! It refers to the length of the camp which is not 4 weeks and ends around 12:30 pm each day. It was great that they were able to join our flea market!

Daniel in what looks to be some serious haggling with elementary kids.

The camp director, Daniel, with some elementary school friends!

Peter Sinclair, a middle school teaching camp colleague and brother in Christ. Peter took one day off of camp about a week back to go up to Seoul for an interview at a Christian university (HanSae). Praying you get it, Peter!

The kids had a devil of a time at the flea market.

Chang-Wook...Jae-Won...why are your eyes closed?! :-)

Do I smell "fear"? ha!ha!

I love this photo of the boys.

As you can see, Ji-Heok is pretty good at taking pictures. This thing was flying FAST and Ji-Heok planted himself on a pedestrians bridge and waited for the PERFECT moment to take this shot. Great shot, Ji-Heok!

Another great picture from Ji-Heok. Ji-Ho, Chang-Wook, Jae-Yun, Chang-Woo, Jason and me on "The Hurricane".

The gentlemen of Gamma following the ladies marching band...

Another photo sent to me from Ji-Heok from our WooBangLand field trip Wednesday, July 11th.

Ji-Heok took this "action photo" (ha!ha!) and emailed it to me yesterday. The idea was to kick the soccer ball through a rather large hoop...but in my case, not large enough!
