Back Intact
"For the Mighty One has done great things for me-Holy is His name." (Luke 1:49) (from "Names of Jesus")
How true this is for ME-"He has done GREAT things for me!"
I am always awestruck by the things God does for me (despite myself and ways). He has blessed me with a wonderful trip home to see my family and brought me back safe and sound to South Korea to start my 3rd year of teaching at Handong Global University. I have "mixed feelings" about being back as I miss my family and this will be the first time I've ever stayed at one place for more than 2 years...but I also know that I should NOT have mixed feelings as "mixed feelings" sounds too much like a "double minded man" (James 1:7). Therefore, I CHOOSE to believe that God has me RIGHT where He wants me to be and that this, therefore, is His best choice for me.
Tomorrow (Feb. 20th...more like this morning), the faculty of Handong University is heading off to somewhere in Pusan (although I think the OFFICIAL name is now "Busan") for a 3 day retreat. I am looking forward to it and expect that God has some great things planned for our university this semester. Please pray that all of our hearts, eyes and ears will be open to experience a new work of God in our lives and that we might honor God in all that is said and done.
Jesus loves us far too much to leave us the way we are!
