Winners of the Zeta class workshop ("cafe mocha") for tied highest scores on the "Martin Luther King, Jr. end of class quiz".

Jason Choi (middle school camp teacher) got a Valentine's day card from a secret admirer. Way off on the date, yes-but we have "Cultural experience" classes where students learn about Holidays and such during the camp.

A valentine one of the teachers (Jason) got from one of the middle school students. Read carefully-hilarious!

Got a good laugh out of this poster in my last workshop. Can you see the resemblance of Min-Ji to her poster? Her dream is to be a flight attendant.

Prayers for Ara Cho in Namibia

I am in my office at Handong for the first time in 2 weeks (Due to the camp in Jinju). I really enjoyed today's service and Pastor Young-Ho's message mostly from Psalm 23:5 about "God providing a table for us in the presence of our enemies." After cleaning up my place, I was checking through a lot of emails that have piled up and one really stood out as something that needs prayer. One of my precious HGU students wrote from the mission field in Africa and so I hope that Christian brothers and sisters out there might be praying for her. She is such a soft-spoken, intelligent young woman and she has been through much heartache in her life but she continues to trust wholeheartedly in God's plan for her life. She asked me if I remembered her but there is no way I could ever forget such a sincere sister.
Dear Professor Andy
Hello Professor Andy,
How are you? This is Ara Cho, one of your student in 2004, English class. Hope you remember me…
As I was writing to those who have been a great help last year, I also remembered you.
I know this is late but wanted to say Happy New Year!
With the simple reason that internet doesn’t work well as one wishes, I delayed to greet you and thank you once again for your great teachings and prayer.
I never forgotten the words, when you sincerely prayed for Namibia, the place I will be going to and for my family.
Next week, it will be already one year since I came here to help my mother in her mission work. I wouldn’t be able to do anything, but by the grace of God even through the hard times I was able to stand firm.
Well I hope 2005 was a great year and I pray that may God bless you even more in 2006! Hope you will be still there in Handong, and to see you again and share the great things what God has done for me.
Sincerely your student, Ara Cho
