A little fuzzy (on "night landscape mode") but this is an attempted shot of a full moon over the Student Union Building at HGU on Sunday, June 11th.

Jo-Ara and Andy Brown, Sunday, June 11th. Please continue to pray for Ara's mom who is working with orphans and handicapped children in Namibia. Also, please pray for Ara as she plans to join God in His work there over the summer vacation.

Ara Cho ("Cho Ara" in the Korean order) giving her powerful testimony of how God has used her and her parents for mission work in Namibia, Africa. I was very touched to learn that just before her father died in 2003 he asked to be buried there in Africa.

24-hour-hotline-to-heaven: "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:3)

"From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." (Psalm 8:2)

B.b.b.b.BAD....BAD TO THE BONE!

Nice final shot of the Possee! Clint Eastwood, eat your heart out!

Kyung-Sook refused any payment after more than an hour's instruction! (Even insisting the standard 3 times according to Korean culture!) She simply wanted us to think about joining as monthly members. Wow! I still find that so unbelievable!

Our instructor, Kyung-Sook, kicking up some dust as she brings the horse to a quick halt after a full gallop.

George (Gi-Hong) the Great

Mr. Kim was the last one around.

Only God Could Make a Horse!

"Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with a flowing mane? Do you make him leap like a locust, striking terror with his proud snorting? He paws fiercely, rejoicing in his strength, and charges into the fray. He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; he does not shy away from the sword. The quiver rattles against his side, along with the flashing spear and lance. In frenzied excitement, he eats up the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds. At the blast of the trumpet he snorts, "Aha!" He catches the scent of battle from afar, the shout of commanders and the battle cry.
(Job 39:19-25)
"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God." (Psalm 20:7)

I must remember that squeezing the horse tight with your legs makes the horse GO FASTER...It seemed the natural thing to do once the horse sped up a little too fast for me...almost cost me my life!

Jim Davis gets a bonus point for actually wearing cowboy boots!

"The good, the bad and the Buzby", coming soon to a theatre near you!

If Batman has "Bat Woman" and Superman has "Super Woman", then I guess it's only fair that Zorro should have his lady too and here she is!

This ranch offers Sat/Sun/Holidays Classes at 200,000 won/month and Weekday lessons at 300,000 won/month. (Closed Mondays) Tel. 054-252-8080

This is another horse they had outside. I think they mentioned that there are 15 horses at "Haemaji Horseback Riding Club" just outside of Handong University.

Good thing we never rode this horse. It was whinnying the whole time, attempted to jump the fence a few times and kept rolling around in the dirt.

This shot gives an idea of the circular lane the instructor had us use in teaching us the basics about horse riding.

Victor seemed relaxed, like he knew what he was doing, on the horse!

Our "horse whisperer", Lee Kyung-Sook, and Victor Tchor just before lessons began.
