T.G.I.F. indeed! On Friday, Sep. 8th, members of the DLE went out to T.G.I.Friday's in Pohang to celebrate my week old birthday (wow! I couldn't believe it!) and for a wonderful "beginning of a new semester party". It was a lot of fun and I really can't thank all my friends/colleagues enough! Posted by Picasa

Full Moon (Thursday, September 7th) in front of Hyoam Restaurant / Chapel stairway at HGU.

With Good Reason to Smile!!!

Ann Story and her daughter Ruth, who came all the way over to Korea to visit her mom! Ann has got to be one of my favorite SIBC members. It is because of her moving testimony some 4 years ago that I first got involved with the Tigrai people in northern Ethiopia. Ruth is a professional wedding photojournalist. Check out her incredible work at www.rackleyphotography.com !

Sep. 3rd-SIBC-Testimony of what God is Doing in Northern Ethiopia

Eugene and his beautiful family are one of many families at SIBC that are always lifting me up in prayer when I head off to Ethiopia. I'm looking forward to seeing them back in Korea safe and sound on October 1st. Remember - Lunch is on me! Posted by Picasa

HGU stands for "Handong Global University" but people have been informally calling it "Handong God's University". There are mixed feelings (from what I've heard) about putting this sign up on the main building as it makes one think that thatis the official name now (which I'm pretty sure it isn't).

Noah and Victor ("bachelors till the rapture"?! ha!ha!) in front of the new sign on the main administration building put up at the beginning of this semester.

Victor Tchor, looking sharp and fresh, early in the Fall 2006 semester. His testimony of leading about 70 inmates to Christ while in the Philippines was AWESOME! Keep on keeping on, Victor!

Noah Chung, a new Business professor here at HGU, posing with the main building in the background. 30 and single ladies...
