Me and Bruce (Bong-Gyu) in front of SooYoungro Church in Pusan. Bruce was one of my best students during my 2nd semester at Handong and we worked together in MNE (Missions in English). Bruce has been attending 3 weeks and this Saturday was my first time there. We were both surprised to see one another there! I was very impressed with the church! Check it out at www.aim.or.kr!

Jin-Young was YET ANOTHER Handong student that I ran into while at SooYoungRo in Pusan. Jin-Young was one of my Computer Lab students last year. She attends one of the many Korean services there (a service almost every 2 hours!) Check out the Korean website at http://www.sooyoungro.org

This is Joseph...NOT "Yohan" (John) his twin brother who attends Handong University. That is so cool that I spotted his twin brother in Pusan!!!

Muhan from Nepal! (another "newbie"! :-))

Ju-An Park ("Julia") came to know Christ through meeting my old student, Bruce, in a language institute this vacation! She met Esther and Eric after the "NewComer's Meeting (with several others) to learn about how to accept Christ! So proud of many Handong students who step out in faith and boldly share their faith! God is SO good!

This is Ee-man who is Korean but attending the English service at SooYoungRo. We had several Koreans in the NewComers meeting who have actually been to the church before but have just recently decided to attend English Service.

This is "Way-In" from Singapore. She is here on a short (6 month) contract in Pusan. She absolutely loves it in Pusan and can't understand why people are so hesitant to come to Korea (in her company) when asked to come here.

Kimchee!

Another new comer to the church. There are more than 20,000 members of SooYoungRo making it the largest church in Pusan!

Andrew led the "New Comers Team" and explained all the Bible Studies and Fellowship groups available at SooYoungRo GyoHway. He's been in Korea for 2 1/2 years and has been coming to this church about 10 months.

One of the sweetest people I met at SooYoungRo church is Taylor. She is only a middle school student but she is so dedicated to the "NewComers Team". She has been serving for a year now. It was so great talking with her and others over lunch at the church cafeteria after service.

Ji-Sun is one of the leaders of the "New Comers Team" at "Antioch International Ministry" at Sooyoungro Church in Pusan.

Dennis, who was one of my A students at Handong, has graduated and now lives in Pusan. How wonderful to see him at church! Although he has only been there 2 weeks, he has already volunteered to serve on the "New Members Team"!

Hannah and Oak-Ee at a coffee shop near Yong-Ji Park just before I took the 11pm bus to Hyundae Beach, Pusan. It was GREAT seeing you Oak-Ee and yes, I will do my best to come by and visit your church sometime this semester!

Oak-Ee and her church friend, Hanna in Chang-Won, Saturday, March 4th.. Oak-Ee was one of my best students while teaching at Changshin Junior College in Masan 5 years ago.
