Jonathan (in the center) and friends from Handong International Law School just after a special service on "Law Day", May 24th. It was a beautiful message on how law and justice are at the very center of God's heart. I especially enjoyed hearing testimony from Jonathan and Anna Kim as well as the messages from Victor Tchor and Eric Enlow.

Joshua (exchange student from the US) and Tracy from Vietnam just after English chapel on Wednesday afternoon, May 24th. They are both members of Alex Bishop's team which sang the praise song, "How Deep the Father's Love For Us" at chapel.

Buk-Bu Church English sermon preacher, Eric Enlow and James Davis taking a small break from legal chit-chat (both work at HILS) to humor Andy with his camera.

Another regular Buk-Bu Church couple; Bryce and his wife, Grace.

Colin (Handong International Highschool teacher) with his wife, Natalie, and their cute son, Benjamin. Great photo, huh?!

Time out from cooking for a quick smile! Nice!

One of my terrific EGC students, Soo-Ho, who I caught off guard while he was removing "Teachers Day" decorations from Hyoam Restaurant after chapel on Sunday.

Victor and Catherine during "TeaTime" after 9am chapel at HIC on Sunday, May 21st.

Went to the "Pohang Christian Bookstore" and ran into Sun-Young (English name-"Sunny") who is the director of the Mission Training Center of Sunlim Hospital. Here she is with her father, Mr. Kim, who is the owner of the store.

The Doctrine of Christ - Anointed Offices of Christ

"He (Andrew) first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ." (John 1:41)
In the Old Testament, men of God who were called for special service were initiated into three offices by an act of anointing. Each of these three offices finds its fulfillment in Christ. The titles Christ and Messiah literally mean "Anointed One."
Illustration: As the Prophet, like Moses (Deut. 18:15), Jesus declared the most complete revelation of the Father (John 1:18). As the faithful Priest (1 Sam. 2:35), He offered the ultimate sacrifice, the sacrifice of Himself (Heb. 9:14). As the King of Kings, He is not only in ultimate control now (Psalm 21:1), but will also reign a thousand years in His own kingdom (Rev. 20:1-6).
Application: Because Jesus is our Prophet, Priest, and King, believers should heed what He says as a Prophet in the Scriptures, come in prayer to Him as to a Priest, and serve Him as their King.
