All good things must come to an end....(unless you're a Christian, of course! :-))

At the end of our last Pronunciation Clinic class (in which students took their final exam), the students returned with a lit cake and sang "The Blessing Song", presented me with a beautiful card signed by all and we had a little party. Of course each class I've taught in the past 11 years of teaching has been precious to me in its own way but there was something extraordinarily precious about this group of young people and the time we shared together this semester that I can explain in no other way but simply "God's grace was rich towards us". Posted by Picasa

Not bad for a photo using a timer! (except for the GOOFY grin on the guy in the back row!)

Thank God Arman is okay!!!

Razak, Arman, Daniel, Nafey and Prophete at Sunlim Hospital
Although Arman is a Christian and Daniel is a Muslim, I am amazed at their beautiful friendship. Daniel stayed several nights in the hospital to take care of his bud even though he must have worried about his own final exams.
Arman had to have an emergency operation to remove his appendix the week before his final exams!
Sounds like the start of a good joke: "3 Afghans, 1 Pakistani, 1 Canadian and 1 Haitian were in a hospital room and...."

The problem with more than one person taking photos at a time is that half the people in the photo end up looking at the wrong camera, ha!ha!
